Konkurencyjny rynek energii elektrycznej (część II)

The issue of European solidarity is – the new member states see solidarity as aid from the older member states for leveling out the economic situation throughout the EU. The older member states however see solidarity in the light of protecting their standard of living, coordinating foreign policy and unifying rules governing business activities. The energy sector reforms performed in countries such as Germany, Great Britain or Norway have been the proof documenting that the most efficient method stimulating the improvement of the efficiency is the creation of the competence mechanisms. The reduction of the electrical energy prices for end-users, as well as the growth of electrical energy turnover and the reduction of the electrical energy generation costs have been the results of the reforms in question. This is due to the fact that the Act in question is in conformity to the guidelines of the EU directives and contains the main principles of power industry sector economic activities, the market deregulation as well as the separation of the electrical energy turnover area from its transmission and distribution. This paper presents the characteristics of the national power system, the course of the power industry reforms, as well as the conclusive model of the electrical energy market in Poland.

Konkurencyjność rynku biopaliw transportowych w Polsce w kontekście uwarunkowań UE.

In 2007 r. 10.-th January EU has prepared Energy Policy Package, including:

          20% GHG reduction by 2020

          20% RES by 2020 (RES=OZE)

Minimum of 10% transportation  biofuels by 2020

There has exists a low share of the biofuels consumption in the transportation fuels consumption structure in Poland. In 2006 year, there was set the national target of 0,92% share of biofuels in total transportation fuels consumption, which has not been consistent with a 2,75% target defined in the 2003/30/EC directive.

There are two major possible biofuels options considered in Poland currently: biodiesel and bioethanol (liquid and as ETBE or MTBE). The starch bioethanol sector has a long history and in Poland and the production is regarded as well structured but more often now the 1-phase production technologies are implemented.

Biodiesel production in Poland has been in early phase, once there exist only a few medium-scale FAME production plant (Trzebinia Refinery of PKN Orlen petroleum concern, Solvent Dwory, Elstar Oil). The several investors plan the quick development of production. Potentials for the production of rape in Poland have been limited to ca. 1 mln ha sown area due to environmental and organizational constraints.

Znaczenie systemów klasy CRM w sektorze bankowości spółdzielczej

Many banks have implemented, or are in the process of designing, integrated delivery channel architectures based on these soft benefits as well as on the goal of maintaining and deepening the customer relationship in the face of competitive pressures. The implementation of integrated delivery channels has to date focused on the service side of the relationship equation.

In the article author presents a few examples of this information management strategy:

(1)    Using channel analysis to model and predict demand at the delivery channels after marketing campaigns or to gauge the impact of channel downtime on service or revenue, tying downtime to a quantified loss.

(2)    Using customer preference to understand the individual customer's favorite channels for specific transactions.

The article shows some simple rules about cost of CRM:

(1)    Before you install CRM, create the tables shown above and make some realistic assumptions about the increase you expect in the conversion rate.

(2)    Work with what you have to see how much impact you get from simple, inexpensive communications. Based on that experience, decide whether you need a warehouse or not. Don’t go into CRM until you have experimented with something simpler and are sure that you need a warehouse.
